"To Such Belongs the Kingdom of Heaven"; Pictures from the Crisis Nursery

"Weak and wounded sinner
Lost and left to die
O, raise your head, for love is passing by
Come to Jesus
Come to Jesus
Come to Jesus and live!

Now your burden's lifted
And carried far away
And precious blood has washed away the stain, so
Sing to Jesus
Sing to Jesus
Sing to Jesus and live!

And like a newborn baby
Don't be afraid to crawl
And remember when you walk
Sometimes we fall...so
Fall on Jesus
Fall on Jesus
Fall on Jesus and live!

Sometimes the way is lonely
And steep and filled with pain

So if your sky is dark and pours the rain, then
Cry to Jesus
Cry to Jesus
Cry to Jesus and live!

O, and when the love spills over
And music fills the night
And when you can't contain your joy inside, then
Dance for Jesus
Dance for Jesus
Dance for Jesus and live!

And with your final heartbeat
Kiss the world goodbye
Then go in peace, and laugh on Glory's side, and
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus and live!" (Come to Jesus, by Chris Rice)

...but Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven."

  1. Hey Katie,

They are precious. Do all of them have aids?

I love the song you put with the photos, by the way. It matches so perfectly and I will never hear the song again without thinking of these sweet babies!

  5. Joseph, I'm not sure how many of them have AIDS. The nursery cares for children born with AIDS but also for those who are abandonded in other life-threatening situations. Most of them have probably not been tested - too expensive.
They all need people praying for them!

  6. Hi Katie!
I'm so happy to see the good work the Lord is accomplishing through your many talents :) The classroom looks great and you're blog is encouraging, I can't wait to read more. And the babies are too cute for words, give everyone of them a hug for me ;)
I miss you and will continue praying that the Lord grants you safety, health and wisdom.
